The film is about a special encounter: the last Mohican, the legendary cameraman, Vilmos Zsigmond's encounter with a young French director, Pierre Filmon. Pierre wanted William to photograph his first feature film. Waiting for the film to be filmed, they met several times and suddenly another film was created: a movie where the man behind the camera was transferred to the other side of the camera. Vilmos Zsigmond's name is linked to films such as The Deer Hunter, the Sugarland Manhunt, the Killer Tour, the Third-type Encounters or the McCabe and Mrs. Miller. The documentary in Paris, California and Hungary, between May 2014 and March 2016 is a personal journey with the master of light and his friends: directors, actors and cameramen.
